X KIDS DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES

The X Kids Director is responsible for building a team that leads and executes the X Kids ministry by inspiring others to serve in X Kids, recruiting/building/pastoring Servant Leaders, organizing events, and scheduling teams for the weekend experience. The X Kids Director will also be responsible for working with the Next Gen Pastor to foster an environment conducive to excellence, safety, and spiritual growth in the X Kids ministry. Furthermore, this role will oversee servant leader orientation and training, including the appropriate placement of servant leaders based on their personal gifts and passions.

They are excellent communicators and detailed workers. It’s a role for someone who has God given talents and skills and is ready to use them to help people get on the path to God. It’s a job for a builder of systems, processes, equipment, environments and most importantly: people.

You are:

• Passionate about sharing X Kids ministry vision with families in the church, people in the community, and servant leaders.
• Able to build a team that leads and executes X Kids ministry by inspiring others to serve in X Kids
• Driven to reach kids who do not know Christ by being relevant and providing a great space for them to connect with other kids and leaders.
• An advocate for connecting with parents and equipping them to be the leader of their child’s spiritual development.
• A strong communicator who listens well.
• A proven project manager with strong attention to details and administrative skills
• A team player and team builder who focuses on the good of the entire organization.

You’ll be:

• Growing X Church attendance by creating and implementing a strategy that draws families into the church through X Kids ministry.
• Leading, developing, and scheduling teams of servant leaders to facilitate weekly X Kids experiences.
• Ministering to the families and aiding in connecting what happens on the weekend with what happens at home.
• A model for those who attend X Church by being an example of personal integrity, discipleship, and evangelism.

Salary and Benefits:

• This is a W2 Employee position with a starting pay range of $35-55k/year. Salary is dependent on knowledge and experience.
• Raises are considered on a yearly basis after an annual review.
• 120 hours accrued PTO with up to 40 hours carried over to following year.

• X Church provides a monthly medical stipend to assist in healthcare costs.

Paid Holidays:

• New Year’s Day, MLK Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and the day after Christmas. If a holiday falls on a Sunday, the paid holiday will be observed the following Monday.
