Serving in the outreach field has taught me so much on how I can rely on our Lord in all matters and with all things, because just as He sends me out to help those in need, He does the same for me. Doing this with an open heart has also allowed me to advance in my own faith while allowing God to move in other areas of my life such as our finances. I believe we started serving before we started tithing and God is faithful in all His promises. I believe it’s the only time in scripture God allows us to challenge Him when it comes to the tithe. And it was a challenge for us, but He came through in ways that can only be explained by Him and His promises.
