Here’s what volunteers should know beforehand:

Furniture with a Heart
Address: 1217 N Memorial Dr, Lancaster, OH 43130

Parking: please feel free to park anywhere in the parking lot.

Dress: Wear weather-appropriate clothing that you don’t mind getting dusty or dirty. Please bring a facemask and gloves if you have them. We will provide them if you do not have them.

Shoes: closed-toe shoes are required; no heels, sandals, or flip flops

Please wait for an employee to screen your temperature. Feel free to mention to any employee that you are there to volunteer and they will make sure that you are directed to the correct area. You can ask for Wendy. She will be leading you for the day.

Activities include any or all of assembling furniture kits, cleaning donations/furniture, organizing donations/furniture, sorting donations/furniture, and more. You should be prepared for physical activities. Volunteers may want to bring a closed-container water bottle.

Please keep in mind that not all items in the back of the thrift store will be marked for sale to the public.

Here’s how we are keeping volunteers safe (subject to change):
Masks are currently required for staff and volunteers regardless of vaccination status.
