Scarlet Hiltibidal is the author of Afraid of All the Things, You’re the Worst Person in the World, the Anxious Bible study, and other books. She and her husband live in Tennessee, where she loves sign language with her three daughters, nachos by herself, writing for her friends, and studying stand-up comedy with a passion that should be reserved for more important pursuits.

Raina Shultheis is a dedicated wife, loving mother to an amazing daughter + (dog mom), and passionate leader in ministry. As the Connections Director at X Church, she has a heart for building authentic relationships and creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and at home.

After many years in the corporate world, Raina transitioned to ministry initially leading children’s ministry and then moving to hospitality. She has a passion for Outreach and missions both locally and globally. When she isn’t taking bucket showers in a 3rd world country or visiting her favorite destination with Todd and Ellie (she’s a Disney adult), she is obsessively organizing something.
